About Michael Nuccio
Michael Nuccio began his theater training in New York City at the Neighborhood Playhouse under Ron Stetson. He continued studying the Sanford Miesner technique of acting under Ron Stetson at the Stetson Studio in New York. Michael has also studied with Deborah Hedwall, who is currently Head of the M.F.A. Acting Program at Rutger’s University and was Uta Hagen’s protégée and assistant. Michael spent several years with the Ensemble Studio Theater’s Actor/Director Lab who’s main focus was writing, producing, acting, and directing original works. He then came to Denver to study with Bill Howey, who has taught such pupils as George Clooney, Mimi Rogers and Pricilla Presley. Bill Howey granted his Denver Studio to Michael, trusting him to continue teaching “The Actor’s Menu” technique. Michael has an impressive resume, which includes movies, TV appearances, and national commercials. Michael locally directed, Life Happens, an eight woman cast performing original work here in Denver, and The Painter, a one act play by Peter DeAnello which won the jury award for best play at the Tri-media Festival. In 2010 Michael produced and directed the short film Shabadoo and Rigsby and is currently in development on writing, producing and directing original work.
